As the body count begins to rise, Commissioner Williams denies rumors of a serial killer and puts the pressure on Lincoln Frost to solve the case fast.

The hunt for 'The Tourist' is taking it's toll on Frost and the cracks are starting to show in his marriage to Katherine, who reveals a secret affair. Meanwhile, Brent discovers a clue that Frost suspects may actually be a message from the killer.

The Tourist strikes again, but this time Lincoln is called in for questioning and discovers this most recent attack is personal. Now Gray wants Lincoln off the case and already has a replacement in mind.

The brutal truth about what happened to Linda Klem reveals that The Tourist was not responsible. While Frost is on leave from the Department, John Kelly is hand picked by Grey to replace him. Meanwhile, Brent doesn't stop investigating, and neither does frost.

Lana confronts Detective Kelly about what happened to her sister, and learns more than she was expecting. Brent brings more clues to the table but gets sidelined by Commissioner Gray who seems to be trying to bury the case.
