Uzumaki, the animated adaptation of Junji Ito’s horror manga, delivers a hauntingly systematic story despite production struggles during the pandemic. Its black-and-white visuals capture a chilling atmosphere, though the animation quality left many fans divided. Still, the series’ unpredictable narrative and eerie cliffhanger make it a must-watch for devoted Junji Ito and horror enthusiasts.
