Three decades later there's a shocking twist – Michael's alleged mistress Sheila Keen is arrested for Marlene’s murder accused of donning the clown disguise. 1. Episode 1

In 1990, Marlene is shot by a clown, and detectives try to find a motive for her murder. Her husband Michael becomes the prime suspect after detectives learn their marriage was on the rocks, but an anonymous tip leads investigators to another suspect.

2. Episode 2

Michael’s affair leads detectives to investigate his alleged mistress, Sheila. A lead on the costume from a store puts Sheila firmly in the frame but without evidence the case goes cold, until in 2017 new DNA evidence leads detectives to an arrest.

3. Episode 3

After Sheila’s arrest, the prosecution prepares for trial, the stakes are high. The prosecution’s case centers on new DNA and fiber evidence. Sheila’s defense attorney attempts to get the evidence thrown out and offers up a shocking alternative…
