Small Bait, Big Love ～Ebiko's Hunt for Her Mr. Right～

After being dumped by her boyfriend, Ebihara Yuiko, also known as "Ebiko," gets drunk and in the heat of the moment kisses her boss, Taijima Ryosuke, whom she admires. The next morning, Ebiko wakes up to find Mizunuma Osamu, the manager of the aquarium shop she stopped at on her way home, sleeping naked next to her in bed

After getting drunk, Ebiko is taken care of by Mizunuma, the manager of the aquarium shop, but has no memory of what happened the next morning. Ebiko confesses everything to her colleague Saya Izumi, and reveals that she has given up on her boss Taijima, whom she admires, and that she will live her life as a "shrimp."

A "Taijo" (sea bream girl) who is a good match for Taijima appears, but Ebiko is sulking, thinking she is no match for him. Her best friend Saya registers Ebiko on a dating app and pushes her to move on to the next love. However, her match fails to show up at the appointed location...

Ebiko and Jong-soo somehow manage to escape from Rena, who chases them with a knife in her hand. Ebiko is astonished when Jong-soo confesses without any remorse that he has received money from several women, and uses it for living expenses and for his favorite idols.

Ebiko and her admired boss, Taijima, go on a two-day, one-night business trip to a hot spring for a presentation. In a euphoric mood, she is constantly thinking about Taijima, and even puts effort into choosing her clothes. Even when they arrive, she is so captivated by Taijima that she can't concentrate on her work

When Ebiko returns home from a business trip, she finds her childhood friend, Takumi Miura, standing in front of her house. Takumi came to Tokyo for company training but missed out on a hotel reservation, and asks if he can stay with her for two weeks. Ebiko is reluctant, but reluctantly lets him stay.

When Ebiko gets home, Takumi is on the phone with her mother and is making comments that seem to look down on Ebiko. When Ebiko gets annoyed and confronts him, Takumi says that he was dumped by his "higher-ranking" fiancé and has come to live with Ebiko, who is more affordable.

Ebiko is stunned to learn that Okita Mamiko is not Taijima's girlfriend. Taijima says he's looking for a girlfriend and invites Ebiko out to dinner. Surprised and confused, Ebiko feels pressured, but Saya urges her on, saying, "Go catch some sea bream!"

Ebiko is finally confessed to by Taijima, the man she has a crush on. However, Ebiko is unsure if she is good enough for Taijima and puts off answering, much to the dismay of her best friend Saya. Meanwhile, Mizunuma has closed his shop after an argument with Yoko, who holds a grudge against him.

Ebiko (Tanabe Momoko) turns down a confession from Taijima (Sakurada Dori), her high-spec boss whom she has always admired, and reveals that she has feelings for Mizunuma (Nakagawa Daisuke). Taijima realizes that Ebiko and Mizunuma have special feelings for each other and smiles sadly... Saya (Kato Shiho) supports Ebiko, who has chosen a man of her own free will for the first time! Ebiko visits the aquarium shop to tell Mizunuma how she feels, but she becomes nervous and acts suspiciously. She tells Mizunuma that she rejected Taijima's confession, and then impulsively blurts out, "I love the manager!" and storms out of the store. When she runs home, she finds that the shrimp in the tank are not moving at all. Worried, Ebiko rushes back to Mizunuma... After struggling to grow as much as she can, will Ebiko be able to catch the true "sea bream man" for her?
