Seven well-known Swedish men travel to South Korea to train as Shaolin monks. Over twelve days they undergo intense physical training and inner-journey work at a temple — designed to challenge them mentally and physically and help them confront personal demons. There are no eliminations or staged “intrigues”; the goal is the internal transformation each participant goes through.

1. Matias Varela

Seven famous men arrive at the Yongmunsa Temple in South Korea and have to give up everything they have: clothes, watches, jewelry and mobile phones. Here they will only face themselves, without outside influence. The first day is a tough crash straight into a new reality with rock-hard training where they are pushed to their limits, driven by two legendary Shaolin masters. When the sun sets, the first thoughts arise about what they have really gotten themselves into. Even though they know that the only way forward is inward.
