This seven-part comedy involves a group of soap opera writers, actors and the network they have to answer to. Stressed scriptwriter Pauline (Robyn Malcolm) deals with her ex and the rest of her unruly writing team — plus the demands of her patronising producer (Tandi Wright).

Patrick wants his character to "grow a pair". Matt has car parking problems.

4. I Am the Resurrection

The network wants the writers to bring back a character they just killed off. Simone discovers she has been made the office memo-reader.

5. Product Placement

Matt makes a radical suggestion for character development, which takes on a life of its own. The show has a new sponsor, a fast-food outlet, which outrages the writing team. Matt borrows a production car and crashes it.
