This 3-part show gave a deep-dive on _what_, _who_, _where_ and _when_ on everything that was Pompeii: Buildings were analyzed down to the last floortile. Any and all artifacts were researched to the core. Deceased got to find out their possible names and stories. The passion of all the workers was infectious, and it was mesmerizing to see this vast lineup of professionals giving the viewer their theories and insight about the place.

The episodes provided an exciting and thorough close up of excavation footage of the ruins. The pacing of the show had me engaged from start to finish, and I felt the storytelling in my soul. This documentary was made by people who poured their heart to it, and it shows.

Before watching this, I knew little about Pompeii; this series gave me everything I needed to get more invested in this piece of remarkable and tragic piece of history.

You've reached the end.
