Murder in Agonda

Sub Inspector Sanket Salelkar gets the first murder investigation of his career when Mala Coutinho, the owner of a 200-year-old Portuguese villa, is found murdered in her bed. The case looks pretty straightforward but his sister Sarla has other news for him.

Sanket realizes he’s made a big career mistake and he has no idea how Mala Coutinho died, forget who killed her. Sanket enlists Sarla to help with the case and together they discover their first clue, a possible new murder weapon?

The needle of suspicion turns to Mala’s daughter, Shalini. However, the truth is shrouded in different versions of the same incident. A new lead turns up with new information about Mala’s life but the cause of death remains elusive.

Sanket discovers the true nature of Mala and Vishwas’s relationship even as Ignatius and Shalini continue to withhold information. A missing jewelry piece brings a new suspect and Sanket lays a trap hoping that the killer reveals themselves.

Sarla’s past comes back to haunt her as Sanket’s trap yields a catch, but soon he realizes that he’s caught the wrong fish yet again. As he faces suspension, Sarla finally cracks the case and only to realise that it’s a perfect crime.
