Mariah spends quality time with her road family in Lake Como, and Tanaka struggles to keep his feelings platonic. Tanaka suffers an unexpected injury that could send him home.

Mariah mourns the loss of her good friend Prince. In other developments, two injured dancers cause Mariah to consider simplifying the show, but Anthony is against the idea. Later, a heartbroken Tanaka realizes his relationship with Mariah was a fantasy.

As the European leg of the world tour concludes, emotions peak, and Mariah is relieved to find out her backup singer and best friend MaryAnne finally has forgiven Anthony, her co-creative director.
