This “slice of life” series (created by: Julie Odnoralov) focuses on JuJu- a girl on a mission to be both different and accepted. Unfortunately, those two things don’t go together when you’re a middle-school preteen girl. JuJu has a huge imagination (called her “JuJu Brain”) that makes for trouble in most situations. On top of all that, she’s navigating her own “rituals” (OCD) that are starting to stress her out. Good thing she has a great family and best friends to get her through!

1. The Boy's Section

The Magoo family takes a trip to the local clothing store, Plain ‘n Simple. JuJu is thrilled with her find. That is, until, she is confronted by the boy next door wearing the same shirt.

2. Burger Palace

JuJu and Chris find a secret path through the woods that leads to their favorite local fast food joint. All is well until they run into an unexpected Burger Palace patron.

3. Gym Class

JuJu and her classmates learn to juggle in gym class. However, to the concern of her teacher, she takes it a little more seriously than the other kids.

4. Dr. Stephanie

JuJu goes to therapy to receive help for her OCD. We hope to bring awareness for asking for help for those struggling with mental illness.
