In 2019 the chance to see two of my childhood crushes in a TV show together drew me to the Netflix show _Dead to Me_. The show immediately hooked me with its mix of fun black comedy and drama, and the first season finished up leaving us wishing there was more. Well, our wish came true with the arrival of a second season in early May.

The series follows Jen Harding and Judy Hale who were thrown together over a tragic event. Harding is a tightly wound widow and Hale is a free spirit, and their personalities sometimes clash, and sometimes coalesce, all while the stress of a murder mystery hangs over them.

It's a show that will at one moment have you laughing your butt off, the next moment have you dead serious, and the next have you recoiling as something unravels for the characters. It deftly handles lots of twists and turns throughout, and some of those twists had us yell out loud and slap our knee with excitement, and at other times made us go "ooooooh".

If you enjoyed the first season, this second one ups the ante quite well, introduces new characters, and gives expanded roles to some who were side characters in the original season.

It's a good fun show that will give you some great moments of drama and uneasiness, but also some side splitting laughs.

You've reached the end.
