Sisters Dylan, Bowie and Hendrix Spence must move from rural Manitoba to Winnipeg's north end after the tragic death of their parents. There, the sisters explore the differences that drive us apart and the love that brings us back together.

1. S1.E1 ∙ Zhi ibeyaanakwan (Clear Sky is Visible in the Distance)

Oldest sister and social worker Dylan now has custody of her sisters but must spend their first evening in the city at her new placement, leaving Bowie and Hendrix in theory at home.

2. Dakaasin (It's a Cold Wind)

Hendrix begins to explore the overwhelming noises and streets of her new neighbourhood. After being racially profiled in a convenient store she meets up with group of teens her age.

3. Wii ningokwan (It's Going to be Cloudy)

Unlike Hendrix, Bowie has been true to her word to Dylan, to stay at home; until she gets a call from Hendrix saying she's in trouble. An unlikely crossing of paths leads to unexpected connection with a girl named Zoe.

4. Wii binesiikaa (There's Going to be a Thunderstorm)

At work Dylan deals with co-workers talking about indigenous people in front of her, not realizing she is mixed. Stressed about her sisters not answering their phones Dylan tries to focus on the job.
