A retired university professor visits a remote village at the invitation of a former student. The purpose of his visit is to listen to village ghost stories and taste a special recipe, 'Boal Macher Jhol.' On a full moon night, while fishing on the banks of the lake and listening to the ghost stories, he finds himself caught in a strange new twist on an old familiar tale.
