October 16th 1984: Gregory, a 4-year-old boy goes missing. Hours later, he’s found dead in the Vologne River, wrists and ankles bound. For years preceding the murder of little Gregory, the family Villemin was persecuted with phone calls and letters from a mysterious person(s) named ‘The Crow’. Jealousy and envy were at the heart of these threats in a small town where everyone knows everyone and half the town is family.

1. My revenge is done

October 16, 1984. The body of Grégory Villemin, 4 years old, is found drowned in Vologne. As journalists flock, the gendarmes follow the trail of a mysterious "Crow"

2. The pack

A suspect is arrested, under the eyes of the raging journalists. This arrest sows trouble in the Villemin family. For their part, the gendarmes question the sister-in-law of the suspect...

3. The post office girls

While the gendarmes believe they have the culprit in the person of Bernard Laroche, their witness retracts. But an unexpected testimony quickly brings out a new thesis...

4. The abyss of chimeras

Sesmat is replaced at the head of the investigation by Corazzi, who is convinced of Christine's guilt. Feeling let down by everyone, Jean-Marie plans to take justice into his own hands...

5. Sublime, necessarily sublime

The noose tightens around Christine, while Jean-Marie faces the consequences of his act. The case becomes even more publicized when Marguerite Duras publishes an article.

6. France's most hated woman

Christine, imprisoned and pregnant, begins a hunger strike. She then publishes a book to defend herself, while Judge Lambert plays his last cards to finally solve the case.
