8/10

The Last Rodeo is a callback to sports movies of the past. It's not perfect by any means, but its a good story with a clean premise that was well executed. There's plenty one can pick apart on the movie, but overall the movie was better than the negatives. There are times when it becomes evident that it's a low-budget film, but other times the cinematography is pretty good. Some scenes are a little wooden, especially those where the PBR riders are acting, but for the size of budget, this movie usually plays as a higher budget film. The story of love, sacrifice and desperation is well done, though a little cliche at times. Overall, I'd rate it 8/10 and would definitely rewatch.
