Year 1937. In the midst of the Civil War, Helena lives with her mother and her brother Bruno, unrecognizable and covered in bandages after returning from the front. Their strange, dehumanized presence awakens in Helena a restlessness that mingles with blurred memories, changing spaces, and blurring realities.
