After struggling to find a copy of the Director's cut, i finally got a hold of it through my brother's friend and my god was it worth the wait. Drive (1997) is fucking fun as hell

Dacascos and Hardison just work well together as a buddy comedy pairing and its also supported by Brittany Murphy, who despite her smaller role just steals the whole show.

And of course, the fucking action is amazing. Koichi Sakamoto really pulled out all his japan action toku-esque fucking flip kicks and dynamic poses. Him and Wang just work so well together and it's kinda sad that we didn't get more collaborations from the two. They would have made some really fucking fun actioners.

Also, if you wanna see more of Sakamoto or Wang, i highly recommend Sakamoto's work in Sentai/Kamen Rider as well as Steve Wang's American Kamen Rider Ryuki adaptation, Dragon Knight.
