
Yangon, 1998. A boy and his mother are waiting for the return of the father, a civil servant, to move out another town at Upper Burma. On the last evening the boy tries to understand the complexities of relationships.

A dismissed chef and a failed rapper rob a car to flee from the city after having a very bad day. On their way, they meet a mentally unstable girl who thinks of herself as an angel. Later they find out that a gang is chasing after them, because of the car they robbed. The trio has different destinations in life but rides on the same journey. Will they reach their destinations? The new Myanmar television drama series ‘Venus Luck’ is set to premiere on 10 May, according to Academy Wutt Hmone Shwe Yi, who plays a lead role in the production. The storyline of the series was written by Moe Ni Lwin. The screenplay was co-written by Moe Ni Lwin and the Skyward Art Team, with direction by Pwint Theingi Zaw (Aron Oo). Speaking about the series, Wutt Hmone Shwe Yi shared: “Venus Luck has already been aired on the BeeBee TV application. In the series, I portray the character of Chit Chit Htoo Zan, a young woman born under the Leo zodiac sign. The story follows her quest to find her soulmate among six charming but very different men. I’d like the audience to watch and enjoy how her romantic journey unfolds, and who she ultimately ends up with”
