In the spring of 2002, six of Denmark's best stand-up comedians joined forces under the name Den Ægte Vare. The goal was to show the audience six different styles in the original form of stand-up - completely stripped of “borrowed” jokes and clap-friendly song numbers. Through 24 shows, Varen delivered the goods in sold-out theaters across the country. The tour ended with 3 nights in the circus building, and this recording is the first of these shows.

Seventy years after they were miraculously rescued from Theresienstadt, six Danish Jews who were children at the time return to the concentration camp where they suffered for a year and a half, consumed by hunger, anxiety and fear of what tomorrow might bring. The six individual stories are intertwined, as the survivors tell of their failed escape to Sweden, the horrible journey to Theresienstadt, the appalling conditions in the concentration camp, and finally of their rescue from Theresienstadt in the final weeks of the war.

In February 2006, one of Denmark's most prolific comedians, Thomas Hartmann, was on tour with his third one-man show, "Hartmann 3." The show showcased a new side of Hartmann. More relaxed, less angry, more pleasant, and just as funny. Word acrobat Thomas Hartmann loves quirky observations and playing with language, which has become one of his unique trademarks. This is fully emphasized on this atmospheric DVD, which was recorded in Falconer Salen with a more than enthusiastic audience.

In the fall of 2005, Jonatan Spang toured the country with his first one (wo)man comedy show, "DAMER." The show was recorded at Store Vega in Copenhagen. Why do Greek statues have such small penises? Why is the gender role debate only exciting when you call wives bitches?
