Si-woo is a nine years old boy living with his dad after losing his mom. Whenever Si-woo and his dad miss her, they pray, talk it out, or write poems. They stay there for each other in the arms of beautiful nature. Si-woo always remembers what his mom promised him before passing. Step by step, they move forward, trying to keep the promise.

Early one morning in Gangnam, three grim-faced individuals get into a black van. They will face their final moments in life in a secluded countryside motel. In the hushed silence of the motel room, the three are set to spend their farewell night, telling his or her life story to the others.

A simple fable about a teacher's quest for justice. The teacher's neighbor not only ogles his wife, but builds an outdoor toilet right beside the teacher's house. When he is refused any legal recourse, the teacher decides to get revenge by building a latrine for the entire village outside his neighbor's house.
