“Gunro no keifu” is known as “Tale of a Scarface.” It follows the life of Kumoro, a yakuza member, who recently is released from prison after serving 14 years for his Family. Upon his return he finds the various yakuza syndicates on the brink of war. Kumoro is, at first, removed from the dealings of the families by his Boss, but slowly he is drawn back into his old ways.

Ryoko starts working part-time for fun, and meets aspiring actor Yahata (Kaai Gamo). Having reaffirmed her identity as a woman, Ryoko fans Yahata's delusions about love.

Shinji (Kawaguchi Takahiro), who wanted to be a writer, impersonates a depraved man by the name of Tokio and sends constant e-mails to his wife Misa (Komatsu Miyuki). Misa eventually succumbs to his passionate e-mail advances, and decides to meet him under the condition that she does so blindfolded.
