The Game of Love and Chance

Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin , Paris From 16 janvier to 28 avril 2018. The Game of Love and Chance (French: Le Jeu de l'amour et du hasard) is a three-act romantic comedy by French playwright Marivaux. The Game of Love and Chance was first performed 23 January 1730 by the Comédie Italienne. In this play, a young woman is visited by her betrothed, whom she does not know. To get a better idea of the type of person he is, she trades places with her servant and disguises herself. However, unbeknownst to her, her fiancé has the same idea and trades places with his valet. The "game" pits the two false servants against the two false masters, and in the end, the couples fall in love with their appropriate counterpart.

    Le Ciel de Nantes

‘Le Ciel de Nantes’ is the film that Christophe Honoré never dared to make. Too painful, no doubt, since it depicts part of his family in a major showdown, where anger and settling of scores alternate with outpourings of tenderness and displays of love.

    Le Jardin des délices

Arrived in an abandoned place or emerged from a society at a standstill, men and women organize themselves in their own way, borrowing what they find on the spot and in the memory of what surrounds them, the theater and the people... In the superb mineral setting of the Boulbon quarry, Philippe Quesne, inspired by a work by the painter Jérôme Bosch, orchestrates a joyful retro-futurist epic to meet the worlds to come, between environmental science fiction and contemporary western.

    Henry VI

Thomas Jolly and his troupe, La Piccola Familia, have embarked on a creative cycle based on the written epic "Henry VI." This monumental work by William Shakespeare, published in 1592, consists of three plays, 80 scenes, and 12,000 verses that recount the 50-year reign of this king of England. Against the backdrop of the Hundred Years' War and the internal strife linked to the civil war of the "Two Roses," this dramatic episode in English history saw the royal houses of York and Lancaster torn apart in the race for power.
